Recovery time varies significantly between treatments. Light chemical peels involve minimal downtime with slight redness for 24 hours. Medium peels may involve 3–7 days of visible peeling. Laser resurfacing typically involves 3–10 days of redness, peeling, and possible swelling depending on intensity. Your cosmetic doctor will outline expected recovery for the specific treatment recommended.
